Subscription fees explained:
- For Flash to collect its R50 subscription fee the driver must earn at least R500 per day
- Drivers that earn more than R500 per day will still only be charged a subscription fee of R50
- For drivers that earn less than R500 per day, a subscription fee of only 10% of the days total trip earnings will be charged
Example 1: A driver that earns R300 per day:
- A driver that earns R300 per day, in fact received trips to the value of at least R400 per day before commission
- Therefore, a driver that earns R300 per day, earns R2100 per week and R8400 per month will have paid a total of R2800 per month in commission excluding booking fees
- With Flash, that same driver will take home R10080 as opposed to R8400 per month
- That is R1680 in the driver’s pocket monthly
- R20160 annually
